Concussive Force (2026):
Instrumentation: Wind Ensemble (see full instrumentation below)
Duration: 5 minutes
Program Notes: "When I was younger, I would frequently bang my head against the wall whenever I was angry. The feeling of rage boiling up, fueling me adrenaline until I eventually gave into my emotions. Hitting my head against the all was a very sobering feeling, instantly relieving all of the emotinal agnuish I felt and replacing it with a daze where I could finally think straight again. At this point, I would always feel guilty about what I did, as it was a very immature action I had taken. Concussive Force is meant to tell a similar story and expresss the emotional rollercoaster that would have led to me hitting my head against a wall, as well as the aftermath."
