Ethan Strunc is currently studying Percussion Performance as a part of his B.M. from Louisiana State University (LSU). He has had the honor of playing with all of the top ensemble at LSU, such as the Wind Ensemble and Symphony Orchestra, and performed with Hamiruge, the LSU Percussion Group at the 2025 Percussive Arts Society International Convention. Further, he has taught high school percussion groups such as Catholic High School directed by Duane LeBlanc, and has also worked as a Teaching Artist for the non-profit organization Kids' Orchestra, where he taught students ranging from 4 to 14 years old. Ethan was also the runner-up in the 2025 LSU Dean's Concerto Competition, as well as a participant of the 2026 Nashville Marimba Sessions. His primary percussion instructors include Dr. Brett W. Dietz, Shawn Galvin, and Troy Davis.
Ethan also has experience with piano, teaching beginners as well as playing in several concerts and recitals, primarily as an accompanist. Further, he is offering private lessons (both through Zoom and occasionally in-person depending on distance and availability) for both percussion and beginner piano.
